Asset Types can be added and managed.  Each asset can be assigned to an asset type.

Each Asset Type can have a data log defined for it.  A data log is a unique table (spreadsheet view) that is created and can assigned to a specific asset within the Preventive Maintenance Tasks.  This table is this used to capture readings of an asset on a regular basis. 

This in conjunction with preventive maintenance tasks and repair entries can assist in predicting failures.
